HR Manager
Job Description
A global, and industry leading, aerospace corporation with head quarters based in Dubai
The Role This is a new role within the organisation, joining a strong HR function to lead on all HR related tasks for Dubai. The position will be generalist in its responsibilities with involvement in strategic projects as the business continues to grow, as well as more administrative HR duties.
The Main Responsibilities Will Include
Work with the HR team to deliver short and long term strategies on a local basis.
Advise on employee relations and performance management in the region with an aim to develop a positive culture.
Working with line managers on the performance appraisal process and setting on KPI\'s.
Lead the recruitment process for Dubai, including resourcing, on-boarding and inductions of new starters.
Ensure succession plans are actioned and updated as necessary.
Identify training needs and develop the training plan for employees, in conjunction with the succession and growth plans.
Ensure day to day activities follow internal policies regulatory requirements.
Review and updated HR policies on a local basis while remaining aligned to the global business strategy.
Involvement in HR projects focusing on continuous improvements of HR contribution to the business.
The Person The Ideal Candidate
University degree in HR
3 - 5 Years generalist HR experience, ideally within a multinational environment, and at least 2 of these years in the UAE
Good knowledge on UAE labour laws and best practice
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to develop effective relationships
Project management skills
