1- Project Manager
Description
Project Managers coordinate resources to ensure that projects are completed on time while managing client relations. They produce key documents for projects related to the development, implementation, and integration of Atypon software and products, including project plans and guidelines. The role is office based, however Project Managers are expected to travel, on occasion, to client sites.

Responsibilities
- Own the successful delivery of the project – ensuring client acceptance
- Produce and maintain key documents related to each project, including the project schedule, governance structure, and other guidelines.
- Work with senior management to identify the resources that are required to successfully deliver on the project requirements.
- Monitor and manage (in a matrix organization) said resources using existing task assignment and prioritization tools.
- Track, measure, and review project progress. This includes adjusting plans, and communicating changes
- Manage communications related to the project - to and from the client as well as internally - with all stakeholders.
- Manage client relations (internal and external).
- Manage escalation of issues as appropriate as well as being responsible for their successful resolution
- Administer the change request process, including related communications, project plan adjustments, resource allocation, and client invoicing.
- Risk management (identification, assessment, and prioritization) and resolution, including escalating risks to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Project accounting and invoicing.
- Pre Sales support - helping in the sales process to deliver product knowledge to potential clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher - desirable if the degree is held in an IT related discipline.
- 5+ years project management experience in software development.
- 2+ years of Agile experience is a must with expertise in Atlassian tools like JIRA.
- External client management is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the publishing and/or media industry desirable.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- History of building strong relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of software implementations and architecture (Java, .NET, web services, n-tier architecture, SaaS, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong communications skills.

REQUIREMENTS (Must have)
- A passion for Data Science and Machine Learning
- Strong development skills in Python or Java
- Experience in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions
- Experience deploying Machine Learning services as part of a production system
- Deep understanding and experience in Text Mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, sklearn, liblinear, Weka, or OpenNLP etc.
- Proven ability to train, tune and evaluate ML models
- Experience with data engineering best practices
- Bsc or Msc with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning related fields
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- Fluency in English
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience using NLP in a commercial setting
- Experience in developing information retrieval, knowledge graph or recommendation systems

Atypon is looking for an enthusiastic person to work as a Senior Software Engineer in Test. This person will be responsible for leading the implementation of a test automation framework in the next generation of Atypon core content product. They will work closely with product architects so they can leverage existing frameworks and build a tool which is easy to maintain, can run automatically and can become the core automated testing framework of Atypon. Together with the core content engineering team, they will be able to work in a team of highly skilled engineers in Santa Clara (Silicon Valley), Czech Republic, Athens and Jordan.

- 5+ years of working on a relevant software engineering position, 3+ years of writing automated tests
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
- Working experience with Scrum or a similar Agile methodology
- Good grasp of Continuous Integration and Release Management principles
- Experience in applying automation frameworks using some of the following tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Geb, Spock, Appium or similar
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks such as Junit, TestNG, Mockito, PowerMockito or NUnit
- BDD testing methodology with Cucumber/JBehave frameworks
- Ability to code in at least one of the following languages: Groovy, Python, Javascript
- A fair understanding of Web technologies; e.g. XML, HTML5, JQuery, etc.
