Alternate Site Manager Marketing Manager

The Alternate Site Manager will coordinate and manage all aspects of a contract for morale/welfare/recreation services, linen and laundry services, washer/dryer maintenance and repair, and general maintenance and custodial services. The Site Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating activities and functions required for supporting international projects and offices on Muwaffaq-Salti Air Base (MSAB). The Site Manager will serve as the in-country on-site (MSAB) representative for all contract activity, and report directly to the contract''s on-site Site Manager, ensuring all elements of the contract are performed within scope and required quality levels. This position is responsible for meeting our contract work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control. The Site Manager will be required to make decisions, direct all subcontractors assigned to the contract, and manage subcontracting services associated with eth contract. The Site Manager will be required to immediately respond to customer complaints and provide resolution to problems within short time parameters identified in the contract. Position will also perform role as Marketing Director for all professional marketing material, calendars, products, and advertisements for MSAB site recreational programs and direct manage Marketing and media center operations in accordance with terms of any awarded contract.
Minimum Requirements
• Must have at least two (2) years of services management industry experience to include knowledge capable of managing:
1. housekeeping support, to include laundry and laundry facility management
2. washer and dryer maintenance, repair, and replacement services
3. linen exchange and laundry services
4. morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) support, Contractor personnel and management policies is desired
5. facility maintenance and custodial services
• Must have two (2) years of experience developing graphics for marketing, publicity and/or other advertising using web applications, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and other related programs.
• Direct management of a task order of a magnitude greater than $1M in an austere environment.
• Must possess excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.
• Position will require ability to respond to customer concerns no less than 12 hours after report.
• Position may require travel.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel.
• Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.
• Supervise, coach and lead work teams in the accomplishment of goals and tasks in support of specific programs.
• Interface with customers to determine specific needs and requirements.
• Corresponds with all functional area supervisors/leads regarding schedules, LN/OCN accountability, facility or equipment failures, serious injury, medical evacuation or emergency leave of any expatriate employee.
• Understand and maintain company policies and procedures of the contractual requirements.
• Maintain all the functional areas and responsibilities (e.g., leave issues; lodging or Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) support; Contractor personnel and management policies; off-base privileges, etc.)
• Assures project purchase requisitions are completed properly and monitors the flow of each requisition to ensure delivery schedules are maintained.
• Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.
• Perform management level customer interface, including responsibility for contractual deliverables, development of responses to the Requests for Quotes and overall task execution.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent preferred
