King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
Physicotherapist III
Responsibilities and Duties
- Examines patient (history, systems review, tests and measures).
- Implements the prescribed plan and identifies arising problems for plan modification.
- Performs various interventions to alleviate impairment and functional limitation. These interventions include but are not limited to: therapeutic exercise, electro therapy, hydro therapy, gait training.
- Conducts pre and post-surgical physiotherapy rehabilitation to minimize possible complications before and after surgery.
- Participates in patient and family education according to patient needs.
- Arranges outpatient visits and follow-ups according to the physiatrist recommendations.
- Records all pertinent data in the patient’s medical records.
- Performs home care physical therapy according to the set schedule and quality Standards.
- Performs any other related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Education & Professional Experience
- Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy.
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Must have a practice permit.
- Very Good command of oral and written English as well as organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
