ORGANISATIONAL PURPOSE:
Islamic Relief Jordan (IRJ) began its operations in 1997 with orphan’s sponsorship, sponsoring hundreds of orphans living in Jordan. IRJ extended its programs to seasonal projects with Ramadan and Qurbani distributions and In-Kind donations. IRJ has established strong partnership with international non-governmental organization and local one’s strengthening the overall response to the Syria crisis. At the onset of Syria humanitarian crisis in late 2011, IRJ provided emergency response to those affected by violence in Syria and has since then scaled up its capacity and operations with number of 110 staff across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely document delivery and tracking
- Provide document control services to departments
- Updating and maintenance of the document control data base by monitoring all incoming / outgoing documentation and entering and management of document meta data
- Ensuring all documents are easily accessible at all times - both hard and electronic copies
- Archive all data, including hard and electronic copies as required
- Monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of data management procedures and processes according to objectives
- Provide reports on the performance of the document management system
- Ensuring all document control procedures are adhered to
Skills
- 1-2 years data management or document control experience with proven experience in similar roles
- Current knowledge and experience of document management / document control standards accompanied by strong procedure and systems knowledge
- Familiarity with computerized document/data management systems
- High level of computer literacy with experience using Microsoft packages including Microsoft Word, Excel
- Strong organizational & administration skills
- Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills
- High level of self-motivation
- Ability to take the initiative and work independently
- Good Arabic ,English oral and written communication skills
- Current knowledge and experience of document management / document control standards accompanied by strong procedure and systems knowledge
- Familiarity with computerized document/data management systems
- High level of computer literacy with experience using Microsoft packages including Microsoft Word, Excel
- Strong organizational & administration skills

Additional Information:
Salary : 500 JOD
Contract Duration : 6 Months
