Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant area (Int’l Development, Humanities, Social Work, Business Administration, etc)
- Master Degree Preferable.
Experience:
- Work experience in international relief and development in various geographical areas, or extensive experience in one area; Minimum 4years.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of the aid architecture (UN systems, Cluster system) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, brevity, and research
- Monitoring and evaluation knowledge
- Public speaking and meeting facilitation skills
- Technically conversant in either Education, Child Protection, WASH, Renewable Energy, Youth Empowerment, or Gender Equality
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Google Platforms
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Design experience with communication materials
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
- Prior staff management experience
- Direct work experience acquiring and/or managing grants from UN, Private or Government agencies, institutional foundations or major individuals preferred.
- Proven proposal writing experience leading successful proposal of various sizes and scopes
- Program development and management
- Nonprofit fundraising and/or donor relations
- Knowledge of Syrian Crisis

Main Responsibilities
- Attend meetings ( with INGO, local NGO and CBOs) and determination of Program requirements
- drafting and issuance of Program proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
- Prepare Program organization and communication charts
- Track the progress and quality of work and make field visits when needed
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor Program plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant Program information to the Donor and project team
- Review field inspection reports from field and/ or project staff throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Communicate directly with donor and submit all required report
- Track & manage contemplated change notices
- Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required program close out documents are obtained
- Communicate ideas for improving organizational processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and or developing this attitude in others
- Keep the UMR Representative and others informed about Program status and issues that may impact Beneficiaries and donor relations
- Develop and implement work plans focused on key outputs and outcomes;
- Write regular donor and organizational reports to highlight program successes and challenges;
- Support the scheduling and production of formal and informal reports on all aspects of the program in a timely and efficient manner;
- Develop close and productive working relationships with all program participants and stakeholders including the primary stakeholders, operations departments, private sector and NGOs
- Oversee program budget and complete financial planning to inform programming;
- All UMR staff is required to adhere to UMR standards for professional conduct and employment policies
