Sales Officer

Department: Business Development


Job Brief:

The Sales Officer is responsible for driving the sales funnel with prospects and potential partners. The position is a direct contribution to setting up the business development and sales function at Edraak and will act as the main driver of establishing scalable sales operations and informing the product development direction at Edraak. The position requires significant involvement with existing products and services at Edraak, as well as learning about the e-learning and educational technology industry space in the region and globally. 


Major Areas of Responsibilities: 

  • Enhance the relations and create awareness on Edraak’s set of products and services with international bodies and potential clients. 

  • Expand the business in accordance with Edraak’s plan and regions allocation. 

  • Networking with related businesses and fostering B2B and B2G relationships. 

  • Achieve business development and sales targets. 

  • Manage a number of lengthy and complex sales cycles simultaneously while constantly prospecting for new business. 

  • Fulfilling requirements for business deals and other business obligations. 

  • Present the company’s services and capabilities at a business level to prospects. 

  • Initiate new business cold calls and handle outbound campaigns. 

  • Assist in preparing and auditing business-related proposals and contracts. 

  • Properly manage and ensure excellent relations with potential clients and partners. 

  • Suggest new modules and product features ideas to the business and technical teams based on market feedback and expectations. 


Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or any related field 

  • Excellent command in spoken and written Arabic & English 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or/and business development 

  • Excellent knowledge in conducting market research and analysis 

  • Proven experience in executing business development and sales activities for the e-learning industry is a plus 

  • Solid experience in handling CRM operations 

  • Experience in MENA countries is a plus 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work under pressure 

  • Excellent communication skill 

  • Customer-oriented 

  • Excellent presentation skills 

  • Self-modified with self-confident 

  • Excellent time management skills 

  • Well organized and detailed oriented 

  • Ability to negotiate present information and finalize deals 

  

Scope of Supervision:

The Sales Officer reports to BD and Sales Senior Manager.
