تعلن الجمعية الاردنية للاسعاف عن حاجتها الى الشواغر التالية :

1- Focal Point – Based at hospital

Jordan Paramedic Society is as local, NGO founded in Jordan in 2012 on the basis of serving, supporting, and motivating the surrounding community and the MENA region. 

JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as spread awareness on healthy living and disease prevention.

To qualify for this position, you will need:

ROLE SUMMARY:

The main requirement for this position is to maintain continues follow up of the medical and health needs for the beneficiaries and share them with JPS Referral Team members in appropriate way. In addition to professional coordination within the facility departments to fulfill the applicants medical and health needs.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding professionally the beneficiaries’ medical condition, concerns, needs, and share the findings with JPS Referral Team members in clear communication, timely & documented manner.
  • Providing a proper comprehensive counseling to beneficiaries in accordance with the polices and guidelines which allow them to get the needed health services. 
  • Applying continuous professional communication with beneficiaries and maintaining continuous medical follow up.
  • Maintain an open communication channels with JPS Referral Team members to receive/provide beneficiaries information and documents, health needs, medical feedback and updates.
  • Establish strong professional relations with the work facility members, to facilitate continuous beneficiaries tracking and monitoring, in addition to be familiar with the facility policies and guidelines to be able to support the beneficiaries in booking medical appointments, and hospital admission & discharge processes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all medical information.
  • Liaise with concerned stakeholders.
  • Any other tasks delegated by direct manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Pharmacy or any other Medical background.
  • At least 1-year experience working in medical field.
  • Experience in case management, referrals, protection monitoring would be considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience working with NGOs/INGOs is highly preferred.

To qualify for this position, you will need: 

ROLE SUMMARY:

Understands the NGOs projects, Applies the security rules at all times, Respects and observes staff regulations of the health projects in the Jordan and Performs duties and tasks not covered in this job description and provide support to other departments when required.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Focal point is responsible of:

  • Follow up the medical cases for obtaining the approval according to the project guideline.
  • Prepare the required physical files for cases management in order to obtain the required approval from donor.
  • Prepare the required electronic files for cases management in order to obtain the required approval from donor.
  • Coordinate with all relevant parties to assure documents and process completeness.
  • Review the files before final cases submission
  • Follow up the decision for the cases with all relevant parties.
  • Assure proper cases tracking through the whole process.
  • Archive the department documents according to the internal procedure.
  • Provide the required training for the relevant staff.
  • Any other tasks delegated by direct manager

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified medical field with good clinical background
  • Working experience in the field is preferable.
  • Experience in case management, referrals, protection monitoring would be considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience working with NGOs/INGOs is highly preferred
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
  • Show diplomacy, good communication and has good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess multi-cultural flexibility and experience
  • Strong organizational skills and good ability to make proactive suggestions
  • Calm, listen rigorously, able to work under pressure and handle stressful situation
  • Able to manage priorities, take initiatives and work without constant supervision
  • Team player, and able to work independently

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Ensure maintaining high confidentiality of information, up to date documents, including processes and verification.
  • Advocate and plan for professional development for yourself.
  • Advocate and plan for professional development for your supervised staff, if any.
  • Provide input to, and deliver, where applicable, training for staff to increase their responsibilities in order to build capacity, and ensure sustainability of programs.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Proactively engage on a regular basis with direct supervisor to develop working networks to seek advice where needed.
  • Ensure the application of, and compliance with, security protocols and policies of the department.
