Awards Reporting Coordinator  - (210001PF)

The Opportunity

The Reporting Coordinator will be the main lead on SRO donors reporting function,  S/he is also expected to support SRO Head of Awards and SRO Awards team in maintain the Awards Management Function at SRO as needed. The Reporting Coordinator will be reporting to the SRO Head of Awards and will be responsible on the roles identified below:

•    Lead on the donor reporting function through developing and submitting timely and high quality donor’s reports on project activities according to SRO’s reporting workflow, and in compliance with  donor and internal SC’s requirements. 
•    Jointly with Area Office and Main Office team members, ensure SRO’s reporting workflow is fit for purpose and develop improvements as required; 
•    In close coordination with the field MEAL personnel and Program heads, ensure that accurate data are being analysed and reported to donors and members throughout the project cycle.  
•    In coordination with the NBD Manager and MEAL Manager, build linkages between reports and proposals to ensure lessons learned and outcomes are well-reflected in proposals.
•    Act as focal point for the submission of data reports to SRO’s members/donors including quarterly monitoring reports, 4Ws and others.
•    Map out the capacity building needs of partners and SCI field teams on elements affecting the overall quality of reports and accurate information flow.
•    Lead the capacity building efforts on reporting with partners and staff, and ensure that project commitments are being followed up and properly reported to donors.
•    Lead communications with donors and SC members on reporting requirements, deadlines, schedules, report submissions and act as a focal point for any ad-hoc reporting request from donors on Amman/field level.
•    Ensure that the schedule of donor’s reports are communicated to each area office on a quarterly basis with monthly updates as necessary.
•    Address comments received by members/donors after submitting the reports by working closely with the relevant teams from the Area Offices. Additionally, tracking the and final version of reports and ensure proper archive for the reports in the AMS.
•    Understanding of SCI processes and SRO key donor requirements and supporting adherence to these
•    Understanding of AMS processes and reporting functions, and ensuring adherence to system guidelines to promote data quality
•    Develop understanding of basic donor compliance requirements and support the communication of compliance requirements across the SRO AOs and Partners.
•    Support in producing other information and communications products for both internal and external audiences as required.
•    Support the awards management department with awards management cycle function as needed and assigned by SRO Heads of Awards. 
•    Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

In order to be successful you will bring/have: 

•    Minimum of 4 years of experience in Awards/Grants Management, Reporting or similar role.
•    Significant experience of working internationally in humanitarian programmes.
•    Experience of leading the preparation and submitting high quality narrative and budget reports for donors, including ECHO, FCDO, SIDA and OFDA/BHA.  
•    Education to BSc/BA level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience.
•    Previous experience of project management and project cycle management, including project design, implementation and evaluation.
•    Good understanding of donor compliance and reporting mechanisms and requirements.
•    Good understanding of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
•    Ability to work well under pressure and work to deadlines
•    Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability
•    Excellent communication skills, in particular in written English; 
•    Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy
•    The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances.
•    Commitment to the aims and principles of Save the Children.

Desirable
•    Language skills in Arabic
•    Experience or understanding of working in the Middle East and as part of the Syria Response;
•    Experience working for Save the Children and working across organisational structures

• التعليم إلى مستوى البكالوريوس / البكالوريوس في موضوع ذي صلة أو خبرة ميدانية معادلة.

• خبرة سابقة في إدارة المشاريع وإدارة دورة المشروع ، بما في ذلك تصميم المشروع وتنفيذه وتقييمه.

• فهم جيد لامتثال الجهات المانحة وآليات الإبلاغ والمتطلبات.

• فهم جيد لآليات الرصد والتقييم.

• القدرة على العمل بشكل جيد تحت الضغط والعمل على المواعيد النهائية

• الخبرة والالتزام بالعمل من خلال أنظمة المشاركة المجتمعية والمساءلة

• مهارات اتصال ممتازة ، ولا سيما في اللغة الإنجليزية المكتوبة.

• حساسة سياسياً وثقافياً ولديها صفات الصبر واللباقة والدبلوماسية

• القدرة والاستعداد للتحلي بالمرونة الشديدة والتكيف مع ظروف العمل الصعبة وغير الآمنة في بعض الأحيان.

• الالتزام بأهداف ومبادئ منظمة إنقاذ الطفولة.


مرغوب فيه

• مهارات اللغة في اللغة العربية

• خبرة أو فهم للعمل في الشرق الأوسط وكجزء من "الاستجابة السورية".

• خبرة في العمل في منظمة Save the Children والعمل عبر الهياكل التنظيمية
