MDS Systems Supervisor
Job Purpose:
Responsible for all aspects of Umniah as a Service Provider (SP) for IP Systems Infrastructure, including Projects, Operations and Techincal Support. Which entails coordinating with other related teams to ensure the best Performance, improve Service SLA's and KPI's through developing new solutions and applying the right, latest technologies, in addition to insure E2E capacity planning alignment with set targets, and provide different level of elements, resources and features to match network growth and meet engineering targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Umniah's SP Systems services, resources, team, design, implementation projects and SLA.
- Develop, implement, support and strategically manage the Service Provider systems including but not limited to servers, operating systems, Storage area, data backup, DNS, Mail, Web Hosting, VOIP infrastructures, and management solution, security systems.
- Ensure Umniah's SP ICT Systems compliance to industry standards and internal standards and frameworks.
- Manage and Maintain SP Systems Hardware; Servers, Storages, Network in terms of upgrades, expansions, reactive support maintenance and proactive support maintenance.
- Validate Systems design, setup and configure to be compliant with business requirements, performance needs, security and business continuity requirements.
- Monitor Systems Performance and KPIs to make sure all systems are meeting SLAs; Servers, Storage, Network and Services.
- Technical Projects Management.
- Provide technical guidelines for operation.
- Security and Risk Management.
- Provide technical support for MDS customers within their area of responsibility.
Requirements:
Education : Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or any related field.
Work Experience: a minimum of 8 years in Systems Administration, with previous experience in managing a team.
Certificates:
- Mandatory: AWS, Microsoft Cloud and Platforms certification.
- Desirable: Cisco Certification CCNA, CCNP Voice, CCIE Voice,Linux, and VMWare Certificates
Knowledge of:
- Cloud Architecture, including Microsoft Azure, AWS.
- Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
- Operating Systems Implementation and Operation (Linux, And Microsoft)
- Virtualization Hyper-v and VMWare
- Cloud computing infrastructure, project implementation, service management and public cloud service provisioning systems.
- Microsoft technologies (windows operating systems, MS SQL, Oracle DB, Cisco Networking (WAN, LAN and security), Servers hardware, Linux operating system, IT security systems, SAN infrastructure, system monitoring and management
- VoIP, Cisco Hosted Collaboration systems, and call Manager.
- Contact Centers Solutions.
- Project management of IT that includes Enterprise services and critical services.
- MS SQL, and MySQL reporting services.
- IT change management.
- Cyber Security.
