Job Description
Position: Testing Centre Administrator-TCA
Reports to: Testing Manager.
Supervision of: None.
Duty station: Amman- Jordan.
Duration and type of contract: 1 year, full-time Employment.
Position Overview:
The Testing Center Administrator will support all official testing activities conducted by AMIDEAST Jordan, register students for paper and computer-based exams, manage test-takers upon arrival, testing and completion assist with other testing related duties.
Role and responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Arm/disarm the ADT security system (if applicable) and getting the center ready for the day,
- Operate the computers systems used to check-in examinees and deliver tests,
- Get the test room ready to deliver exams,
- Check IDs according to client specifications and requirements,
- Inform the test takers about the center facilities and exam and Prometric procedures and policies in a clear and accurate language,
- Launch exams and conducting proctoring of the test room,
- Conduct the testing room walkthrough as per the UAS system,
- Administer exam breaks and verifying the returning examinee,
- Perform biometric procedures, both during check-in & before and after breaks,
- Perform wanding procedures as per Prometric security measures,
- End the exam; collecting note boards, scratch paper and exhibits; printing score reports,
- Deal with potential cheating situations,
- Monitor the testing material upon usage and inform when not enough supplies,
- File Center Problem Reports (CPRs in AP&C centers; Site Reports in IT center),
- Communicate with Prometric Global Help Desk to escalate technical and immediate issues,
- Deliver special accommodations exams,
- Provide a high level of service and professionalism to candidates and clients,
- Assist in local registration tasks if needed,
- Answer all customer inquiries by phone,
- Handle the SAT material shredding and destruction on monthly basis,
- Assist the testing department with any needed tasks,
- Proctor placement test exams,
- Assist the testing department with any needed tasks,
- Any other task requested by direct line manager and/or Country Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study,
- One year work experience in similar work setup,
- Ability to organize and maintain large amount of detailed information,
- Excellent English and Arabic (written and oral) skills,
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills,
- Computer proficiency,
- Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity,
- Trustworthy, dependable, responsible, honest,
- Organized, works under high pressure, and meticulous.

2- Exchange Programs Officer
Job Description
Position: Exchange Programs Officer.
Reports to: Exchange Programs Manager.
Supervision of: None.
Duty station: Amman- Jordan.
Duration and type of contract: Annual
Position Overview:
Exchange Programs Officer is responsible for assisting in the management and operation of the Exchange Programs department. This includes supervising alumni and working on departmental projects. S/He is also responsible for handling logistical and administrative tasks leading to the success of the implementation of the departmental goals. The Officer will report to the department manager.
Role and Responsibilities Exchanges and Scholarships
- Assist Exchange Programs Manager in the implementation and coordination of overall departmental operations to ensure all activities and reports are delivered on time with the highest quality,
- Assist the Programs Manager in all stages of Exchange Program implementation, including announcing new scholarships, assist in orientation and awareness sessions, arrange all logistics with procurement department and follow up on confirmations, this includes visits outside the capital
- Assist in conducting pre-departure orientations as needed, this includes working some weekends
- Follow up on applications’ collection, eligibility, and completeness check, filtration, entering data into data base,
- Maintain a complete and updated hard and soft-archived data base of students and alumni.
- Assist Programs Manager in implementing Alumni activities and following up with Alumni.
- Managing AMIDEAST Alumni database and ensure highlighting success stories every month.
- Provide assistance in all Program’s activities, events, and operations as needed and requested by Program Manager;
- Follow up on incoming calls and call log sheet,
- Keep AMIDEAST Customer Service team abreast with latest developments, news, announcements, etc.
- Any other task required from direct manager.
- Assist AMIDEAST staff in other Programs -if requested and when needed,
- Follow AMIDEAST standard operating procedures,
- Perform any other AMIDEAST work-related duties requested by the department manager and/or Country Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or a related field;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic,
- Project administration experience
- A minimum of (1) year of work experience;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including attention to details,
- Good people skills,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Ability to work flexible hours,
- Ability to work within a team environment,
- Ability to travel and accompany students if needed
- Ability to handle emergency student cases.
- Self-motivation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office,
- Friendly and professional demeanor,
- Honest, trustworthy, respectful, with a high level of integrity.
