We are searching for an experienced Senior Architect (min 10 years of experience) to oversee A S A L I new projects. As the Senior Architect, you will mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and designs. You should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of CAD software, and the ability to handle positive/negative feedback, should also be open to criticism and learning opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
•Prepare and oversee the preparation of concept, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
•Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.
•Lead team with complex project designs, resolve drawing discrepancies and other technical opportunities.
•Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.
•Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
•Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations.
•Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
•Extensive understanding of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
•Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
•Oversee material research and compilation of project data and incorporation throughout the project.
•Participate with the project team to understand/establish project goals and objectives including workplan, project schedules, budget parameters, while ensuring the highest product quality.
•Assist with the timely submittal of drawings to the appropriate authorities having jurisdiction.
•Prepare project specifications.
•Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.
•Ability to review technical drawings, construction materials submittals, quantities and tender documents.
•Attend construction meetings and make periodic site observation visits as required.
•Review and understand applicable building codes and other standards.
Senior Architect Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
•The relevant state license.
•A good portfolio and several years of work experience as an Architect.
•Willingness to work overtime as required.
•Excellent leadership and communication skills.
•Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills.
•Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
•In-depth understanding of CAD, Revit, 3ds max & Microsoft office.
•Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.
