Data Entry Volunteers
General Description of Role 

Under the direct supervision of the M&E Officers, the Date Entry is responsible for working with the M&E department and REACT program teams.

The Date Entry is responsible for submitting, analyzing and reporting the data collected from schools in the host community.



Main Responsibilities

Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database files and forms; enter the data of students (names, attendance, grades, individual follow up forms).
Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database files and forms; enter the data of activites ( educational kits distributing , commitess , awarnes sessions ) .
Assist in preparing, compiling and sorting documents for entering data.
Assist in checking source documents for accuracy; check and follow on student's data.
Assist in verifying data and correcting data where necessary.
Assist in keeping and filling collected data.
Support MEAL department in archiving data ( hard and soft copies )
Safe storage of hard and soft copy of data; Filing all completed hard and soft copies; safe storage of hard and soft copy of data and securing information by completing data base backups.
Maintain a spirit of innovation, optimism, open communication and enthusiasm that will help propel the project forward.
Share data will meal officers as required .
engage with weekly data check activity lead by the MEAL officers .
Perform other duties as needed.


Required Qualifications

A B.S. or B.A. degree preferred or commensurate work experience;
Minimum of 1 year professional experience in monitoring and evaluation of USAID, EU U.N.-funded project or with an INGO.
English and Arabic fluency required;
Strong computer skills required;
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail;
Experience working in post-conflict environment or with refugee populations in emergency response context a plus;
Desire to learn, willingness to ask questions, cultural sensitivity, and flexibility are desired characteristics. 
Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
