1- Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

Kuehne + Nagel Jordan is looking for an ambitious, self-disciplined and focused Sales Manager to its Sales and Marketing department.
Your Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and direction of all sales and business development activities of Jordan related to Sea-/Air Logistics and Contract Logistics when implemented.
Your Responsibilities
  • Develop field sales persons in sea & air logistics, contract logistics.
  • Take part in development of new products and solutions in the sea-/air logistics business unit.
  • Maintain your own platform of customers for further development and growth.
  • Conduct regular reviews with Key Accounts-, National- and Regional Management.
  • Maintain close communication with customers and Kuehne Nagel (KN) operational managers to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results.
  • Update know-how and skills and look for market information, activities and possibilities for business development.
  • Responsible for regular appraisal, performance interviews and performance measurement of all local sales as well as supervision and guidance of sales staff.
  • Secure a proper use of the KN sales database of his direct reports being itself an exemplary user of the system.
Your Skills And Experiences
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management or a similar discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in similar roles in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Solid sales experience in Sea & Air freight businesses. 
  • Willingness to work in a team, able to drive business and potential to come with business solutions.
  • Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache, excellent communication skills in English and Arabic Language.
  • Outstanding performance in closing deals and negotiations. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on professional and personal staff development.
  • Wide spread Business related knowledge within the local logistics market.

2-  Senior Sales Executive - Seafreight

Kuehne + Nagel Jordan is looking for an ambitious, self-disciplined and focused Senior Sales Executive within Seafreight Business.
Your Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for sales outdoor and indoor trying to achieve new clients to start cooperating with Kuehne + Nagel (KN) and provide them with the best solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
  • Represent Kuehne + Nagel (KN) within the market and develop the Business in terms of acquiring/maintaining clients.
  • Update and maintain internal systems and make sure data quality is top notch.
  • Ability to achieve new opportunity business from and to different trade lines as well as targets and volumes.
  • Keep a track of competition activities and report market fluctuations.
  • Maintain a close to contact to with the booking teams with and keep the customers up to date regarding their shipments. 
  • Provide sales support and assist with reporting and analysis.
Your Skills And Experiences
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management or a similar discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in similar roles in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Solid sales experience in Seafreight business. Knowledge in Airfreight Business is a plus. 
  • Willingness to work in a team, able to drive business and promoting KN as a brand.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic Language as well as good negotiation and persuasion skills. 
  • Extensive Business related knowledge within the local logistics market.
