Case management midwife/nurse
CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is running a mental health program centered in <18 years old in Irbid and Mafraq and is seeking a Case Management Midwife/Nurse.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and understand the contextual, medical and related issues to sexual violence of the vulnerable population in Mafraq
- Embrace and portray a zero tolerance policy for sexual exploitation and abuse
- Performing the screening and medical evaluation of clients in accordance with agreed protocols and guidelines
- Improving access to vulnerable populations through creative awareness ideas
- Ensure timely referral for subsequent management of individuals case
- Maintaining clients’ integrity, confidentiality, safety and rights during all processes
- Systematically recording data on completed activities using appropriate, ensuring data quality and accuracy
- Reporting and participating in staff meetings and other related meetings as delegated
PROFILE
- University degree in Nursing and/ or Midwifery. Registered with the appropriate board for Nursing and midwifery with Current practicing license
- At least 2 years experience in same role
- Experience in similar role with other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), or Vulnerable Populations is preferred
- Organized, flexible, able to work under pressure
- Mentorship/ supervisory skills
- Communication skills and good team spirit
- Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic is required
WORK LOCATION: Irbid/Mafraq - Jordan
CONTRACT: Fixed term contract – Full Time
Probable start date: asap
