Smoking Cessation Clinic Coordinator
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Coordinates the delivery of smoking cessation services throughout the different clinics
2. Participates in smoking cessation clinics activities (data collection, data entry, phone calls follow up, etc.)
3. Follows the clinic appointment; scheduling, cancellation and rescheduling.
4. Provides direct, professional care to all clients at smoking cessation clinics
5. Educates patients, relatives, community member and health care professionals about the risks of tobacco product use and benefits of quitting
6. communicates effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse group of staff, patients and external contacts.
7. Reviews reports and other documents for completeness, accuracy and content hazards.
8. Provides support to the unit by assisting in the daily office needs and managing the general administrative activities.
Education & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Medical field (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Biology).
- 2 years minimum experience preferably in health care field.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Very Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge in computer utilities such as word processing, spread sheets, database and power point
