Position: Project Officer – Mentorship/ Coaching Program
Location: Amman, Jordan
Application Deadline: 03 March 2019
Duration: Full-time for 6 months with possibility of extension (3 months’ Probation Period)
Start Date:ASAP
Under direct supervision of the country manager, the Project Officer will focus on developing programmes in-line with the objectives of the Donor and the outcomes agreed upon. All tasks will be done in coordination with the other POs in Jordan office, with the SME expert and the Country Manager.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
Training and Coaching of Entrepreneurs
• Manage the relationships with the partners in coordination with the Country Manager:
o Coordination of the daily affairs with partnering institutions;
o Coordination of the daily affairs with the partnering incubators;
o Building and maintaining partnerships with providers, create partnership plans and conduct site visits;
• Set up the structures needed for the activities of a certain programme:
o Ensure maintenance of database and accurate completion and storage of documents, including contracts, records, attendance and evaluations of the Entrepreneurs
o Coordinate trainings if applicable
• Manage the Mentorship/ Coaching component
o Manage the relationship with financial partners of institutions
o Watch over the cohesion between the SME programme and Entrepreneurship programme
• Manage the relationships with the entrepreneurs
o Field visit to ensure the effectiveness of the programmes
• Managing and leading Junior Project Officers in their role when applicable
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Responsible for an up to date registration in our M&E dashboards of all the related tasks and figures.
Other
- Participate in internal office coordination and planning meetings
- Other assigned tasks, as necessary.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven coordination & organization skills
- A hands-on and pragmatic attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with networking and communication
- Flexibility, integrity, result – oriented
- Working experience of 3 years in a similar position
- Knowledge of English
- Having a network in the target communities is a plus.
