e-Marefa is looking for an energetic, highly motivated PHP Developer, the ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of in-house applications specifically in PHP format.
Responsibilities
• Design and build applications using PHP, yii framework is preferred.
• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
• Work in a data analyst role and with business intelligence applications
• Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure Responsibilities
• Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
• Identify project risks and work effectively to mitigate them
• Find and help fix stability/scalability issues in a time critical environment
• Support product releases and be available to resolve issues
• Develop tests and perform testing of your software
Qualifications
• 3+ years of applicable professional software development experience (PHP Experience Required)
• Ability to connect to Databases like Oracle and MySQL
• Knowledge of industry standard web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JQuery, etc)
• Ability to collaborate with other developers on site performance tuning and optimization
• Ability to conduct peer-reviews of front end code, ensuring that all code complies with team standards
• Ability to work with all level stakeholders to gather information with minimal direction toward predetermined goals and to understand business functions
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytic abilities
