شبكة الابتكار للتغيير تبحث عن Innovation Officer في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا

Employment Condition for all positions: Full-time.
Employment Duration for all positions: 18 months based on 3-month probation at the beginning of the contract, with a possibility for extension.
Compensation for all positions: Commensurate with experience.
Deadline for Submission of Applications for all positions: February 10th, 2019.
Expected starting day for all positions: March 2019.

The Innovation Officer will lead the development, the testing, and the implementation of new approaches and methods to support Civil Society organizations in the MENA Hub.

• Key responsibilities:

1. Work with the Innovation for Change Innovation Working Group  to develop and drive the innovation strategy throughout the I4C MENA network;
2. Support the Hub Coordinator in planning an Innovation Roadmap for the region;
3. Provide capacity building support to the regional network incubators and other Hub stakeholders.
4. Provide digital storytelling and citizen journalism expertise, including trainings and learning content;
5. Assist the Hub in planning mobile collaboration and connectivity initiatives;
6. Assist the Advocacy and Campaigning Officer in planning and conducting advocacy and outreach campaigns through pitching new tools;
7. Provide technical input in evaluating solutions intended for partially connected environments, including situational awareness, data collection and operational use;
8. Assist with the review of program work plans and performance monitoring and evaluation plans;
9. Assist in managing a developmental evaluation approach to M&E;
10. Support the Hub Coordinator in diversifying and expanding the  I4C MENA network to include innovation talents;
11. Other duties as assigned.

• Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to international relations, development, regional studies or other related subjects;
2. Five years of experience in working with activists and civil society organizations working in closing space environments on innovation initiatives;
3. Two years of practical experience conducting trainings in different parts of the world;
4. Demonstrated experience digital storytelling, citizen journalism, and data journalism techniques;
5. Experience with mobile survey and collaboration approaches;
6. Experience working in restrictive and partially connected environment;
7. Experience with nonviolent civil resistance and people power methodologies;
8. Full written and spoken fluency in Arabic and English; preferably in French;
9. Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
