١-  MEAL Senior Officer

Job Summary:
The Senior MEAL Officer is part of the Amman based MEAL team led by the MEAL Coordinator.
The Senior MEAL Officer will be responsible for the implementation, performance monitoring, evaluation accountability and learning aspect of all IMC Jordan projects with the guidance from the MEAL Coordinator. With the support from information management officers, he/she will be responsible for assisting in the development and roll-out of tools for effective management of data across all technical sectors and sites. The Senior MEAL Officer supports in conducting assessment, surveys and program evaluation.
In coordination with Information manager, he/she is also responsible to ensure data quality, update the Performance monitoring tool/PMT, monthly country report (MCR) and other information need as required. With guidance by the MEAL coordinator, the Senior MEAL Officer plays an important role in monitoring the implementation of accountability activities in coordination with the accountability officer and program team.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Programme Quality, Performance Assurance and accountability to affected population
  • Aggregate and analyze data from active grants information platform to contribute to management decision-making and reporting.
  • Produce regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and periodic) data reports including MCR and PMTs , integrating results, successes, challenges, lessons learned, and highlights from across sectors
  • Create and integrate graphics and trends in reports and information products to help visualize meaning of data.
  • In consultation with the MEAL Coordinator conduct regular data quality assurance in line with IMC and donor guidelines
  • Work closely with information management team and data entry to ensure that up-to-date data is being collected for all projects, in line with the project targets, and in a timely manner.
  • Undertake internal supportive supervision, share the findings and follow the progress per the supervision.
  • Work with each technical head to ensure the collection of relevant and appropriate data needed for an effective MEAL system which will be utilized in monitoring strengths, weaknesses and gaps in existing programmes and services and for reporting on donor commitments as well as producing board summaries
  • In coordination with the MEAL Coordinator and programme department heads, ensure that data collection methodology at the field level, including tools, logbooks, and templates, capture all donor reporting requirements in terms of indicators, and in accordance with a unified definition.  Support in modifying the tools when required.
  • In coordination with the MEAL Coordinator, assist in the implementation and review of accountability mechanisms including community feedback and complaint mechanism.
  • Work closely with field team to ensure accountability to affected population
  • Build capacity of staff through training to ensure adoption of new data monitoring tools and quality of data collected in line with donor indicators and for internal use.
  • Ensure that  cross cutting issues such as participation, gender and disability are effectively addressed/mainstreamed in all project implementations  as part of ensuring accountability
Assessments, Surveys and Evaluations
  • Conduct timely planning and initiation of all pre and post intervention assessments required all donors in coordination with the MEAL Coordinator
  • Review current grants and programmes assessment needs, plans and coordinate with the technical team for its implementation and quality

Requirements:
  • Degree or Masters in Statistics , Demography, Social Sciences or Health related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in MEAL with strong knowledge of Accountability to affected population, data management, assessment and evaluation
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer software packages, especially with MS Excel,
  • Knowledge on research and data collection methods and familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS, EpiInfo, MYSTAT, others (at least two).
  • Knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications, data collection using ODK, Kobo toolbox and CommCare is an advantage
  • Project management skills - programme work preferably in an NGO setting.  
  • Practical experience in implementing the core humanitarian standard  in refugee camps and host communities  
  • Familiarity with various donor guidelines and M&E frameworks
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
  • Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations
  • Excellent in time management skills and a high level of attention to details
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English and Arabic

٢- Child Protection Counselor
JOB SUMMARY
Child Protection is the prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence against children. Child Protection case management is the process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work-type support, and managing information well. Within child protection case management, there should be appropriate involvement of children throughout the process, as well as full consideration of the best interest of the child.
The position of Child Protection Counselor will be a counseling professional with a formal degree in psychology and or counseling. The position requires the Child Protection Counselor to work closely with the child protection case management team to support identified children and their families through counseling based intervention. The Child Protection Counselor will also run support groups for children with specific and common issues and protection concerns, as well as train Child Protection Case Managers to run support groups. In addition, the Child Protection Counselor will run parenting support classes, and will train staff and volunteers on a range of topics related to child protection, PSS and psychological support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Where relevant, assist Child Protection Case Managers in initiating, developing and reviewing care plans for individual children, with participation from the child and their family, helping clients to define goals, plan action and gain insight
  • Monitor on-going care plan implementation in relation to a child’s counseling needs, with special attention to identifying risk issues and communicating these issues to the allocated Child Protection Case Manager
  • Provide counseling with the aim to improve the social and emotional functioning of children and their families, maximizing overall community well-being, encouraging clients to discuss emotions and experiences
  • Examine issues including substance abuse, bullying, anger management, relationships, LGBTI issues, self-image and stress
  • Offer specialized and direct therapeutic support for children with child protection concerns
  • Provide group and individual counseling and guidance to children and their families
  • Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, counseling plans and individual client progress
  • Conduct intake and psychosocial assessments of clients
  • Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from case intake through to case closure
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided
  • Conduct psychosocial and awareness activities in IMC safe spaces and clinics
  • Oversee the referral to specialized psychological service providers for higher level care and other services as needed.
  • Support new hire orientation and training as required
  • Assist and train case managers on support group techniques and evaluation
  • Deliver training on Psychological First Aid, family counseling, psychosocial support and related topics
  • Work in close collaboration with the child protection case management team
  • Contribute to proposals and report writing of PSS activities when requested
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, counseling, social science or related field is mandatory
  • Experience providing counseling is mandatory
  • Child protection experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English
  • Experience in working with children

٣-  Non Communicable Diseases Doctor (NCD Doctor)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
Provision of PHC services:
  1. Preventive
    • Medical checkup
    • Family Planning Counseling
    • Child growth monitoring and immunization status
    • Health education provision and increase people awareness about their current health conditions and health promotion in general
  2. Curative
    • Medical consultation including family, medical history and full physical examination
    • Management of chronic conditions & NCDs patients.
    • Management of Acute cases.
    • Prescription of drugs according to national/international standard treatment protocol
  3. Referral
    • Referral to secondary and tertiary care as needed
    • Referral to Basic Rapid Diagnostic test (clinic nurse)
    • Referral to clinic obstetrician-gynecologist
    • Referral to clinic health educator
Administrative:
  • Fill patient clinical record file for each patient visit
  • Prescribe drug on clinic prescription form
  • Fill referral form for any referral case outside of clinic
Technical Assistance (TA):

  • Provide TA in development of health education material and health promotion campaign as necessary
  • Assist in development of Health Education Plan as necessary
  • Provide advice on drug and medical supply order in coordination with clinic pharmacist
Training:
  •  Participate in medical and management trainings as determine by IMC senior management. 
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new
  • advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas.
Qualifications:
 BCs in Medicine.
  • BCs in Medicine.
  • 4 years’ experience in Family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Get Part one board in family medicine or internal medicine.

٤-  Pharmacist (LIMITED CONTRACT)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
The Pharmacist is responsible for organization, maintenance, and management of IMC PHC Azraq clinic pharmacy and drug distribution to the clinic clients.
Organization and maintenance and management of clinic pharmacy:
  • Organize proper layout of the pharmacy room at IMC clinic 
  • Ensure all items are placed by category, in alphabetic order and have appropriate labels: generic name, form, dosage, expiry date
  • Ensure following files and forms are available and maintain: (1) drug distribution logbook, (2) daily consumption form and file, (3) prescription form file, (4) stock card file, (5) waybills file, and (6) drug order form
  • Prepare drug order on monthly or bi-weekly basis
Drug distribution:
  • Distribute drug to patients according to clinic’s doctor prescription
  • Provide clear instruction on how to take drug verbally and in writing on drug package
  • Fill in pharmacy logbook for each drug disbursement
  • Assesses patient drug needs
Training:
  • Participate in trainings as determine by IMC senior staff
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas
Reporting to:
  • Clinic manager Clinic Manager about organizational, logistical, and administrative issues
  • And report to Medical coordinator for technical issues.
Others:
  • Ensure integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients
  • Assist with additional tasks as determined to be needed by supervisors
Qualifications:
Education/Degree: BCs in Pharmacy.
Years of experience: Min (1) – Max (4).
Other:
-  Hold the certificate of practicing the profession from MOH.
-  Female candidate are preferable.
-  NGOs Experience are preferable

٥-  Gynecologist

Scope of Work:
  • Overseeing antenatal care, gynecologic care and obstetrics care in Azraq refugee camp clinics. 
  • Supervision and oversight of midwives
  • Provision of clinical management of rape, willingness to learn and follow associated protocols
  • Performing deliveries when precipitous deliveries present to clinic.  In the future, additional vaginal deliveries may be a part of clinical activities
  • Identifying high risk pregnancies warranting transfer to hospital
  • Providing referral services with a good understanding of transfer procedures within and out of camp
  • Carrying out a clear, complete documentation of patient care and required forms
  • Providing post-partum care.
  • Providing clinic related procedures (ultrasound, intrauterine device insertion) with a demonstrated competency
  • Administering appropriate treatment and counseling for sexually transmitted infections
  • Adhere to infection control guide lines.
  • Provide TA in development of health education material and health promotion campaign as necessary
  • Having good communication skills.
  • Advocate to patients.
  • Maintain professionalism with colleagues.
  • Any additional duties deemed by clinic management to be important for care of beneficiaries
Qualifications:
  • Gyn/OBS board issued by Jordan Medical Council or equivalent.
  • License to Practice in Jordan as Gyn/Obs Specialist issued by MoH
  • Good English skills.

٦-  Staff Care Specialist

Scope of Work:
  • Provide psychoeducation to staff in individual and group formats on the effects on the mechanisms of the stress response, how to recognize signs of stress and burnout.
  • Implement training opportunities for staff on stress management strategies and positive coping skills.
  • Conduct group-based initiatives to support staff wellbeing.
  • Provide individual counselling and support to staff as needed.
  • Provide support to IMC and JOHUD staff, with an approximate breakdown of time being allocated to office staff (30% of time) and field staff (70%).
  • Conduct regular field visits across IMC and JOHUD sites to identify staff in need of support and to provide educational opportunities to staff on maintaining their wellbeing and promotion of active, positive coping strategies.
  • Help staff to find strategies and methods of working with beneficiaries.
  • Plan self-care activities for IMC staff in collaboration with IMC’s human resource department.
  • Develop a yearly plan for staff-care initiatives that includes group-based activities.
  • Develop and utilize referral pathways for staff requiring additional support or intensive input.
  • Develop referral pathways in Amman and throughout the various sites of intervention in Jordan.
  • Support training and supervision opportunities of Health and protection staff as appropriate, to support their professional development and to increase visibility of the staff care specialist role.
  • Provide culturally appropriate and context specific psychosocial support to IMC and JOHUD staff, based on a thorough understanding of MHPSS needs locally.
  • Raise the awareness of IMC and JOHUD staff (including management) on staff care and wellbeing.
  • Provide guidance on the set up of a country-wide staff care plan.
  • Conduct an analysis of the current state of staff wellbeing, with recommendations on ways forward for an organizational staff care plan.
  • Work closely with human resources and MHPSS leads
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Psychology is essential
  • Full registration in Jordan as a Psychologist is essential
  • Minimum two years of experience in a mental health related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Arabic

٧-  Project Manager

Scope of Work:
  • Overall management of the project.
  • Provide the proper support to the program staff in several locations and different geographical areas.
  • Manage the project budget.
  • Working with program staff and procurement to ensure that supplies are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Using appropriate techniques to manage changes and alterations in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Participate and contribute in the monthly pipeline/grant review and projections meetings.
  • Contribute actively to budget development for UNHCR and other proposals.
  • Prepare and update the procurement plan when necessary.
  • Manage the administrative tasks of the project staffing including recruitment
  • Participate in the recruitment of project staff.
  • Monitor the recruitment of volunteers ensuring compliance with SOPs in place.
  • Work closely with location managers and Medical Coordinators to ensure proper implementation of all medical related activities.

  • Past experience with NGO is preferable.
  • Excellent command in Arabic and English.
