We are looking for Mechanical design Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
More than 4-5 years experience in supervising basic engineering design in water and wastewater field
Ability of reading the basic design package (PFD, P&ID, Process design, … etc.)
Knowledge in selection of electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to communicate properly in oral and written form
good knowledge of international codes and standards of piping material.
knowledge of piping engineering detail design
Able to place piping support and pipe rack properly
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow up engineering schedule.
Co-ordinate with a multi-discipline engineering and design team on a daily basis.
Read design specifications and technical drawings to design systems.
Drafting, designing, specifying & analyzing mechanical part of the projects.
Selection & sizing of the Mechanical Equipment.
Provide the required designed calculations
Prepare piping engineering detail design
Prepare drawing for piping support
Prepare Shop drawings for Installation works & Fabrication drawing for Workshop works.
Guide the CAD operator to create the shop drawings.
Prepare the Bill of Material.
Prepare the drawing for submission.
Prepare the pre-qualifications, catalogues for Material submittals.
Reviewing the Consultant comments and prepare reply if required.
