Intermediate Accountant
Job Brief
POSRocket is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated accountant to join its finance team. The young individual should have all the basics of accounting and book-keeping in addition to an appetite to learn and improve.
Responsibilities
- Participating In Preparing Monthly Financial Statements.
- Participating In Preparation of Monthly Managerial Reports.
- Compiling account information, preparing and recording asset, liabilities, revenues, and expense entries.
- Maintaining balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies when needed.
- Preparing Monthly Adjustment entries, taking accruals and provisions.
- Preparing periodic tax reports.
- Preparing Salary entries and posting to the ledger.
- Having experience in collection and A/R Aging.
- Having general experience in auditing.
Qualifications
- Excellent command of spoken and written English & Arabic
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
- Excellent use of Excel or equivalent software. Advanced excel is a plus.
- Excellent use of Word processing and presentation software.
- Minimum 2 Year experience in Accounting.
- Familiarity in basic web technologies.
- Motivated, energetic and proactive.
- Good communication skills.
- A car is a must
