١- Technical Finance Assistant "Nationals Only"

Role Specific Information
The Finance Technical Assistant in Camp is responsible for verification all cash payments covering NRC operational and direct payments to beneficiaries in accordance with NRC Financial handbook and regulation.

Generic responsibilities:
  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
  • Assist a range of support with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action.
  • Implements independently procedures and activities within own function or core competency as delegated.
  • Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the specialist area of work in which technical assistance and support is being provided, in order to be most effective in supporting the team.
  • Use initiative in day to day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work.
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
  • Ensure proper filing of documents.
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement in your area of expertise. 

    Specific responsibilities
  • Carry out regular cash counts in the camp, prepare voucher and documentation related to cash box and camp payment.
  • Checking and processing labors and teacher’s payment in the camp.
  • Participate in cash distributions, provide cash assistance to new arrivals from NFI area.
  • Assist in the month-end accounting closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger and all supporting documentation.
  • Filing all camp transactions and supporting finance staff in Amman Office.
  • Any other duties assigned by line manager.

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor degree or equivalent years, with minimum 1 year of experience. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, Experience from cash handling & reconciliation, Good cultural awareness and sensitivity, Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential.

٢-  Technical ICT Assistant - Irbid

Roles and Responsibilities
The Technical ICT Assistance for the NRC Jordan Country Office is responsible for ensuring all NRC Global & Local ICT policies and guidelines are implemented and to ensure the efficient and cost effective set-up, also will be responsible for technical support for staff.
Generic responsibilities:
  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
  • Assist a range of support with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action.
  • Implements independently procedures and activities within own function or core competency as delegated.
  • Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards.

  • Maintaining the organization's IT network, servers, and security systems.
  • Investigating and diagnosing network, hardware, and software problems, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the organization's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.
  • Assisting co-workers with everyday IT needs.
  • Conduct ICT training for users.
  • Tracking and reporting ICT daly problems with the users directly to the Help desk.

Knowledge and skills needed to confidently design, configure, manage and troubleshoot any wired and wireless networks (Network +). Knowledge and skills in computer maintenance. (A+). Familiar with range of operating systems and programmes (Windows, Linux, Microsoft-Office). It will be a privilege having solid knowledge in VoIP(CallManager), MCSA, and Data Security.

٣-  Livelihood Information Management TL - Amman

Roles and Responsibilities
 NRC's Livelihoods team is hiring an Information Management Team Leader to support all data collection, management, analysis, and reporting associated with a large scale Cash for Work (CfW) project being carried out in northern Jordan. The IM Team Leader will work closely with field staff to ensure all relevant participant information, attendance, payments, and reporting systems are running effectively and efficiently. In addition, this position will support the livelihoods team in collecting information needed to transition participants into longer term employment. This position will involve field work and travel between the various project sites.
Generic responsibilities:
  • Management of project staff.
  • Implement plan of action for delegated portfolio of Core Competency projects (activities, budget and project documentation).
  • Day to day follow of progress in project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with NRC policies, Core Competency tools, handbooks and guidelines.
  • Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
  • Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports and other documents.
  • Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer of key skills.
  • Liaison and collaborate with relevant local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Promote the rights of internally displaced/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.

Specific responsibilities
  • Collect, Clean, and Organize data related to CfW participant information, attendance, salary sheets, and key project indicators
  • Systematically review and evaluate the daily salary payment systems (on site and in office) and generate needed solutions
  • Deliver regular internal updates on key project indicators, progress, and forecasting
  • Conduct additional qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis as requested by the project manager
  • Ensure NRC's data protection policy is being applied to all activities and staff are aware of the specific data protection protocols
  • Train relevant project staff on data collection and field level quality control measures
  • Liaise with NRC's Monitoring and Evaluation staff to ensure reporting requirements are met
  • Develop user-friendly visual analytics including infographics, dashboards, and graphing

Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Computer Systems Engineer, or related, with minimum of 3 years of experience. Advanced knowledge in Excel and Access. Experience working with visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). Background in mobile data collection. Previous management and training experience. Experience managing Payment/Finance Systems. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
