Compensation and Benefits Restructuring Consultant

الوصف ومتطلبات الوظيفة:

Summary:

The goal of this consultancy service is to provide recommendations to amend Mercy Corps Jordan salary scale after thorough analysis of the scale and its gaps. Once recommendations reviewed and approved, prepare an amended salary scale and work closely with the HR and Finance departments to assess feasibility and make adjustments as needed.

Deliverables: 

• Detailed review of Mercy Corps Jordan salary structure,
• Detailed review of current Position descriptions and placement on salary scale, list inconsistencies or gaps,
• Recommendations on amendment to the current salary scale to, the amended salary scale should:
  • Align with market and/or best practice,
  • Ensure defensible and competitive salaries in comparison with similar size organizations
  • Ensure a logical difference between each step and grade while matching the current market scale.
  • Ensure fairness amount all the different departments within the same grade
  • Include detailed guidance on how to use the salary scale and place new positions within the salary scale.
  • Could include additional grades and steps and modification of the current structure
• Recommendations on amendment to the current position titles if needed to reflect salary scale amendments
• Review the current benefits and advise if any modification should be taken into consideration.
• Advise if the current number of grades and steps requires any additions or modifications.
• Study and recommend the inflation rate that should be taken into consideration in any annual increase.
• Recommendations on annual increase considering both annual market increase and performance in line with Mercy Corps current policy.
• Detailed mapping of current positions in the salary scale and guidance for new hires placement, highlighting major inconsistencies and proposed changes.
• Work solely on providing the final version of the Salary Scale based on all of the above points and recommendations after getting the approval from MC.

​​       Mercy Corps Jordan office, Um Uthaina - Amman – Jordan

• Invoicing:

            Services will be invoiced upon providing all the above-mentioned deliverables.

• Time Frame:

            Should be mentioned in the consultant proposal.

• Notes:

       The consultant will have to sign an NDA upon signing the contract.
