Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. ACF is looking for its program in Jordan for STOCK (STORE) KEEPER
Work place: AZRAQ Camp
Monthly Basic Salary Range: 665 JOD
Main Objective : Manages the store : Tools, equipment, hygiene products, Materials .
Specific Objectives:
Objective 1 : Manage the stocks :
Activities :
- Identify the equipment entering and outing and check the quality and quantity;
- Ensure follow-up of stocks and pay particular attention to use-by dates of food and medicine;
- Draw up a monthly inventory and write an inventory report ;
- Keep up to date stocks forms on daily basis.
- Place the orders in material and food according to the inventory and the stocks’ definite minima.
- Responsible for the daily in and out materials and product report.
- Using the FIFO system
Objective 2: Ensure that the stores are hygienic and clean:
Activities :
- Check daily that the store is clean and is regularly disinfected and ventilated;
- Check the temperature and humidity of the store;
- Check the sanitary conditions of new products (absence of parasites);
- Remove infected products and inform the base logistician;
- Treat the infected products according to the instructions;
- Separate food stuffs from the others;
- Set up a protection against the animals and harmful insects and treat as of the first signs from infection.
Objective 3 : Manage cargos and shipments:
Activities :
- Complete the various dispatch documents;
- Supervise preparation and charging of products and equipment.
- Objective 4: Manage Loading and downloading Labours or IBVs:
- Responsible to prepare the IBVs attendance sheet on daily basis.
- Managing and evaluate the downloading Labours and their performance during the work.
Activities :
- Examine the deliveries : quantity, quality, documentation;
- Check the sanitary conditions of the products entering;
Report any problem with the quality.
Candidate Profile:
Diploma / Level of studies: Secondary school
Required skills: Command of reading and writing – Good ability to work in shifts – Command of arithmetic – Knowledge of French or English
